THE SLIPPERY SLIDE OF DISAPPOINTMENT C3R7

Theme Park

Endings In A Never Ending World ~

The Slippery Slide Of Disappointment is I suppose a metaphor for a death itself, or all the miniatures deaths within a life. She is the most relaxed ride in the Theme Park. You climb the staircase fo your life, and suddenly, it becomes time to go home.

You reach the top of the staircase and jump into the technicolour waterslide, and eventually land in a swimming pool with a Kandinsky painting painted on the bottom of the pool. The pool is surrounded by elves, dwarves, fairies, furies and other mythical beasts and creatures.

The words “PURPOSE”, “INTENTION”, “DREAMS”, “INNOVATION”, “HELP OTHERS”, “BELIEVE”, “DISRUPTION”, “FATE”, “CHANCE”, “CHAOS”, “ADVENTURE”, “NEWNESS”, “SURPRISE” “NONSENSE” and “SHARING” and various quotes are mosaicked or etched in the edges of the pool where the entrance and exit stair-rails are. There’s plenty of water-pistols, green tubes and fun things to do in the multicoloured water with all your friends. The chaos of the swimming pool, is much more fun than the staircase. You fall asleep and have two choices.

You may stay here and keep building rides, or go back to your life, or somehow do both, either way for now…
