featuring WHY IN THE WORLD ARE WE HERE?

C1R4 THE LAKE OF MEANINGĀ

The Lake of Meaning is the more the serene seductress, appearing to host absolutely everyone regardless of whether she agrees with them of not. She would just as easily listen to music as words, as soup fills her ears and she magically hymns to herself. You know that feeling of lying in the water, eyes almost closed, eyelids flickering in sunshine? Thatā€™s how she always feels. The creatures made the lake straight after the Funhouse, as a place to get their water. The nine islands emerged one by one, with each full moon, until there were nine. No one knew why. Shakalacka Phire keeps the questions of the Lake under a pile of carefully structured shell-sculptures upon each shore of each island.Ā

Ā THE LAKE OF MEANING: SHAKALACKA PHIRE: Shakalacka Phire was obviously everyones first pick to be the guide for the lake. From ruling the island of Power, to unanimously deciding upon the exact moment of the mass creatures exodus, and deciding on exactly how/what technique to use as they leapt from their pages, as he too leapt from his book, WHY IN THE WORLD ARE WE HERE? Shakalacka was determined to still wield some power into and beyond the unknown, and executes his job with tremendous professionalism. The lines for his ride are never too long and no one has fallen out of their boat yet. Although incredibly overbearing, he believes what he is doing is right and good for everyone, and that fact alone, softens his edges.
